Terms of Service
Effective date: November 5, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you (and the business you represent) and Shanghai Huidang Software Technology Co., Ltd. ("Lunelle", "we", "us") for the use of Ethos by Lunelle (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our [Privacy Policy](/privacy/). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
- Ethos is an AI marketing assistant. It organizes the materials you give it, writes articles, short posts, websites, images and videos, suggests where and when to publish, and — after you confirm — carries out some actions for you, such as publishing your website or publishing an approved post to a social media account you have connected.
- Features may change over time. Some features depend on third parties (AI model providers, cloud providers and social media platforms), whose rules, availability and results we do not control.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information, and register only for a business you are authorized to represent.
- Keep your password and verification codes safe. Actions taken through your account are treated as yours.
- Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been misused.
3. Your content
- You keep all rights to the materials, information and conversations you give us ("Your Content"). You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law.
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Service, including through the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
4. Connected accounts and publishing
- When you connect a social media account, you authorize us to use it only to publish content that you have reviewed and approved in the Service, and to check the result. We never publish anything without your approval. You can disconnect at any time in the app or on the platform itself.
- You are responsible for following each platform's terms and community rules. We are not responsible for actions a platform takes on your content or account (for example removal or limited reach), or for changes to a platform's rules.
5. Generated content
- Content generated by the Service is based on Your Content and your instructions. You may use it to promote your own business.
- AI can make mistakes. Review generated content before you publish or use it. We do not guarantee that generated content is accurate, complete or fit for your purpose, or that it will bring traffic, rankings, customers or sales.
- When you publish or use generated content, you are the publisher and are responsible for complying with advertising and other applicable laws. Our checks and suggestions are aids, not legal advice.
- Our templates, designs, software and interface remain our property.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- create or publish unlawful, deceptive or infringing content, or impersonate anyone;
- send spam, inflate engagement artificially, or harass anyone;
- reverse engineer, scrape, attack or overload the Service, or get around its limits;
- resell the Service or let others use your account, unless we agree in writing.
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or end the Service for accounts that break these rules.
7. Fees
Paid plans, prices and usage limits are shown in the Service or agreed with you separately. Price changes are announced in advance and do not affect a period you have already paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refunded.
8. Availability and liability
- The Service is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Please keep copies of important materials.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost goodwill or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, or liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
9. Ending the Service
You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end the Service if you break these Terms or the law. After an account is closed, we delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy, except where the law requires us to keep it.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). Any dispute will first be negotiated in good faith; if that fails, it will be submitted to the people's court with jurisdiction where we are located (Pudong New Area, Shanghai).
