Lunelle

Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Shanghai Huidang Software Technology Co., Ltd. ("Lunelle", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use Ethos by Lunelle (the "Service"), an AI marketing assistant for small businesses, including our website at www.lunelle.cc and the app at ethos.lunelle.cn.

The Service is built for businesses. Most of what you give us is business material, not personal information. If your materials contain personal information about other people (for example your staff or customers), you must have their consent or another lawful basis before you give it to us.

1. Information we collect

- Account information: your mobile number or email address, your name, your company name, and a password (we store only a salted hash of it).

- Content you give us: files, images and videos you upload, web pages you ask us to read, your conversations with the assistant, and your settings.

- Connected accounts: when you connect a social media account (such as YouTube, Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok), we receive an access token and, where the platform provides one, a refresh token, plus basic profile information about the account or page you choose (its ID, name and avatar). We do not receive or store your passwords for these platforms.

- Usage information: sign-in times, IP address, browser information, operation logs, task records and error logs.

- Payment information: orders, payment status and invoice details. Card numbers are handled by the payment provider, not by us.

- Cookies: the app uses a single sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use information

- To provide the Service: understand your materials, write and prepare content, and carry out actions you confirm.

- To publish on your behalf: we use a connected account only to publish the specific post, video or update that you have reviewed and approved in the Service, and to read back the result (for example whether the post went live). We never post anything you have not approved, and we do not read your private messages, follow or message other users, or change your account settings.

- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

- To support you, and to tell you about changes, renewals and bills.

- For billing and accounting.

- To improve the Service using de-identified or aggregated information that cannot identify you. Information obtained through a platform's API (including Google and YouTube user data) is never used for this purpose and is never used to train or improve AI models.

3. Google user data (Limited Use)

Lunelle's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the [Google API Services User Data Policy](https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

- We use Google user data only to provide the features you see in the Service (publishing your approved videos and posts, and showing their status).

- We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

- People at Lunelle do not read Google user data unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security or legal reasons, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

If you connect YouTube, you also agree to the [YouTube Terms of Service](https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google's handling of your data is described in the [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Service:

- AI model providers that process your materials and conversations to understand and write content.

- Cloud, storage, messaging and website hosting providers (such as Alibaba Cloud and Cloudflare).

- The platforms you connect: when you approve a post, its content is sent to that platform.

- Payment providers, when you pay.

- Authorities, when the law requires it.

5. Where information is stored, and how it is protected

- Information is stored on servers in mainland China. Requests to overseas platforms and some AI model providers are processed outside mainland China, only to carry out the features you use.

- Access tokens for connected accounts are encrypted at rest, kept separate from other data, and never shown to anyone, including our AI assistant.

- We use encrypted connections, separation between customer accounts, access controls and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure; if a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

- We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Logs are generally kept for at least six months.

6. Disconnecting accounts and deleting data

- Disconnect a platform: in the app, open Settings → Social accounts and click Disconnect. We revoke our access with the platform where it supports this, and delete the stored tokens. You can also remove our access at any time from the platform itself — for Google, at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

- Delete your data: you can delete your materials and generated content in the app at any time. To delete your whole account and all its data, email service@lunelle.cc from your account's email address or tell us your account's phone number. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 15 working days. Data obtained from connected platforms is deleted when you disconnect the platform or delete your account.

- You can also ask us for a copy of your personal information, or to correct it.

7. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
